Company History
The original bookshop was founded by Wilhelm Maudrich(sen) in 1909. Today we specialise in books, magazines, electronic media, teaching aids and models for medical sciences.
In 1929 Wilhelm Maudrich(jun) published Prof. Dr. Lorenz Böhler's fundamental textbook for accident surgery "Technik der Knochenbruchbehandlung", creating the basis for a medical publishing business.
The newly founded publishing company attracted a number of established physicians, mostly representatives of the Vienna School of Medicine. Today our publications cover a wide range of topics.
